In EUC, this is a 9" desk globe with an antique ocean motif (vs. blue ocean) from the early- to mid-1990s by Replogle Globes, Inc.
***See the last 2 photos for small flaws: some peel off the coast of Chile & a little bit of scuffing on base. Also, during photographing, 2 of 3 brown felt protectors on base fell off. Will send.
Photo 9, followed by photos 10-14, will date this globe post-1994, but pre-1997. (Repogle's website also has a "How Old Is Your Globe?" page.)
I *believe* this is probably an earlier iteration of their Quincy desk globe, #51510 (walnut base, still available), OR the Roosevelt, #51516 (rosewood base, no longer available). This globe is identical to them, except for the shape of the base which is slightly different. They also had one called the Washington, #51515, which had an oak base. Using the Wayback Machine, I could link only back to 2001 to one of their many online vendors, where these globes were described as follows:
Handsome integrity. A solid hardwood base and die-cast semi-meridian provide the setting for this beautiful 9-inch raised relief globe. The Quincy with its opulent walnut-finish base, offers today's most current placenames with interesting Old World touches. The Roosevelt and the Washington offer the same globe with rosewood- and oak finish bases (respectively). And like the historical figures that suggest their names, these globes will stand the test of time.
