Pristine condition. I have run my finger along all of the edges and felt no chips. The only area not completely smooth in the front edge of the hens rim where the factory mold connected edges. (Pic #11). It's not chipped or damaged just a bit of texture. Color is smooth not painted. Will come expertly packaged as I am familiar shipping candied hen dishes
