VTG Buddhas Bookends Wood Carved Sitting Standing MCM "READ"

These beautiful carved wood bookends are unique and definitely the conversation piece. The versatile image of a standing and sitting buddha designed to inspire a sense of tranquility and inner peace. These bookends are approx. 6" x 7". Uncertain of the specific wood, but it appears to be teak or mahogany. "Read" - The standing buddha reflects damage - see last two photos 1) the left hand reflects a stick that has been reattached (see photo), and 2) the right hand reflects missing tip of bag.
