VTG British Airways Royal Doulton English Fine Bone China “Heathrow” Pattern

Collectible BRITISH AIRWAYS PLATE Royal Doulton manufactured this plate for British Airways. The pattern name is Heathrow (BAW-5) and it was first used in 1989 when the airline enhanced their first class service. Made in England, this plate features a blue speckled band trimmed in silver/platinum on a white background. The backstamp is marked British Airways with the Royal Doulton lion logo. The plate measures 5 3/4 inches. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or hairlines to this vintage plate and moderate wear to the silver rim and almost no utensil marks. If you collect the Heathrow pattern, here's a nice piece to add to it. This pattern is getting harder to find. Thanks for looking and please see all pictures.
