A vintage Bao Bao bag from Japanese designer Issey Miyake in a cobalt blue tiled geometric design. The bag is created from a black mesh fabric layered with small triangles of polyvinyl. The chain strap is a gunmetal and is detachable to use as a clutch. The strap drops 21" and it has a top zipper closure with a signature metal pull. The interior is a black satiny fabric and is completely open with a signature vinyl patch. The bag can be laid completely flat and measures 9" wide, 4.75" in height and a depth of 3". The tiles can be wiped clean with a very damp soft cloth and dried with a soft cloth. The Bao Bao line was launched in 2000 and I believe this is from that era. I'm pricing this according to its flaw which is one missing triangle tile and really not that noticeable until attention is drawn to it.
