A vintage 900 coin silver (90% silver) Turkish Wedding mirror. These Wedding mirrors are a tradition in Turkey whereas the groom gifts this to the bride and it's hung on the wall mirror side to the wall to display the beautiful repousse design. Actual silver coins are used and an overlay of silver creates the intricate design. It is stamped with "900 bedo" for 90% pure silver and bedo is a common hallmark in Turkish jewelry. It measures 6" wide, 4.75" in height and a depth of 3/8". This weighs over 13 ounces and has it's original chain to hang. This is a brighter silver than my pics and I'm guessing this is from the 1950's or 60's. This is in perfect condition and I do have its original box. A stunning silver piece for a bedroom, vanity area or displayed in your home to become a conversation piece. Thanks for looking!
