VTG 1990’s Purple Mexican Oaxacan Caftan Maxi Dress with Colorful Embroidery

• This is a gorgeous vintage Mexican Oaxacan loose-fitting caftan dress, 1970’s style but likely from the 80’s or 90’s. • Made of lightweight, deep purple cotton. Hand-embroidered with colorful floral designs & embellished with white stitching around the neckline and throughout. Originally handmade in Mexico. • No size tag, listing as XL. Please check measurements below for exact fit. • Measurements (approximate): - 9” neck - 27” shoulder to shoulder - 6” sleeve - 10” arm hole - 28” pit to pit - 43” back neck to bottom hem - 7” side slit • This dress is in great vintage condition with minor wear. The embroidery is all in tact with no loose threads that I can see, see photos for a tiny thread pull in the cotton fabric. No rips or tears. You may notice a slight discoloration on the side of the dress toward the bottom hemline (pictured) which looks like paint (?).
