VTG 1950’s Hadley Wool Wiggle Sheath Pencil Skirt Navy

Hadley Cashmere was one of the leading cashmere sweater manufacturers in the United States from the 1940s through the 1970s. Hadley also made coordinating wool skirts and silk blouses. These matched sets were very popular with college girls in the 1950s and early 1960s. (From the Vintage Fashion Guild) This skirt is in excellent pre-owned condition with no signs of moth holes or stains. It is fully lined and features a side zipper with hand sewn double hook and eye closure and a rear kick pleat. The size tag says 16 but it is probably closer to a modern size 8.
