VTG 1950s Fire King Hand Painted by Gay Fad Studio, Fruit Motif Large 2.5 QT mixing bowl Fire King by Anchor Hocking. Hand Painted by Gay Fad Studio, Fruit Motif mixing bowl with handpainted fruits in bright, clear designs on milk glass bowls by Fire King Oven Ware. The large bowl is 2 ½ quarts, 9” by 4.5”. The Gay Fad studio was in Lancaster, Ohio, 1945-62, founded by Fran Taylor. She and her staff hand-painted their designs onto "blank" glassware from various US glassworks, and there are no worn spots on this bowl. Overall excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks.
