@jaydenjan we did. We had a house fire. On Christmas eve 5 years ago we had just bought a frog fish...btw COOLEST FISH EVER anyways we acclimated him and left. Came home to house on fire and the fish tank actually put out the fire! I guess the heater was defective and caught on fire and started the wall on fire and the stand on fire. Then the tank broke and put out the flames so we were lucky. We had 3 dogs who lived but lost everything we owned.

@jaydenjan we lived in a hotel for 5 months while insurance tried to not pay. It was a nightmare. I had a huge red and purple starfish. We had a bunch of little coral like Christmas tree ones but the damn frogfish was eating the corals. We only had the frogfish because he ate our other fish. We didn't realize he would run the tank and be sucha pain to corals etc. Ahwell. After the fire we started a lil frag tank but it was soo expensive. He ended up selling it.

Im so sorry to hear that sweetie but I'm glad to hear that your dogs are ok and no one is hurt.πBtw,Frogfish is really a cutie but we're afraid to keep one.Keep on hearing stories that they are aggressive and they are not reef safe.We do have clown,tang,blenny,wrasse,mandarin dragonet,watchman goby,bangaii&pajama cardinals,hawk fish,fire/peppermint/cleaner shrimps,anemone,filefish &some clean up crews but corals are the best. lol π

@ladykiml It is really expenssive to keep reef tank specially corals. We have frag tank for swap. From that we can have corals for free. We frag whenever we grow a handful little coral babies because my hubby is up to zoas. Most of the time we swap our zoa to another zoa that we still don't have. It's addictive. hehe π
