For your consideration is this high quality, hard to find poster printed nearly 50 years ago that was part of Vogue Poster Book published in 1975. It shows a print of a vintage July 15, 1916 Vogue magazine cover. It is entitled "Suggestions for the Hostess". Vogue Magazine is published by Conde Nast. Until the 1930's, when photography began to take over, all the covers were commissioned from well known artists and designers of the time.The covers reflect the fashion, arts, and society of the period.
