VINTAGE US NAVY ESTERBROOK PEN HOLDER W/PARKER FOUNTAIN PEN GLOWY!

This fabulous pen holder is a part of vintage US Navy history, & is a dipless fountain well! It’s manufactured by Esterbrook, & is (for what I’ve read through research), a Bakelite base surrounded in glass. Measuring 4-1/2” in diameter x 2”T, it’s in beautiful shape with no chips or cracks, I’m leaving the sticker from the antique shop where it was purchased on the item for you to remove, as some collectors like the stickers. Consistent with age & use, the USN embossing has some wear, please view pics. It’s base is cork lined to protect your furniture & for non slip while using too! The fountain pen I chose to pair with this historical piece is a Parker “57” made in the USA, a real classic that is complimentary to the holder! Now for the fun part - there’s an orange glow to the clear glass casing under UV light! Manganese was used in the molten mix, which would date this beaut to before the 1930’s, as that was about the last time manganese was used in glass!
