VINTAGE STUNNING LOWENTHALS COLUMBUS OHIO BLACK WOMEN'S FUR COAT

This is a gorgeous coat. It would be so amazing to know its history. It is black fur. Unfortunately, I am unable to determine what specific fur. It is a gorgeous black. It tapers starting at the waist and has a flowing bottom portion. It has three front buttons. Two of the buttons are missing the rhinestone centers. The inside includes the "Lowenthals, Columbus, Ohio" tag. There are also initials inside of the coat as well as beautiful embroidery on both of the sides. There is no size tag, however, I did take multiple measurements. I do believe the sleeves are meant to be three quarter length. It is 47" from the bottom of the coat to the top of the back of the collar. The sleeves from the armpit to the wrist are 15". The measurement from shoulder to shoulder is 18" across. I wear a size 6 in general. I tried on the coat and it fit with some wiggle room. As I stated above, the sleeves were short on me so I think they are three quarter sleeves.
