Carmelo is Frank Patania Jr.’s Brother. Pat lived from (1902-1999). Beginning in 1928, Carmelo worked in the Thunderbird Shop. In 1959, he opened his Kachina Shop in Tucson, Arizona. Carmelo Patania retired in 1980. Many Native American jewelers apprenticed with the Patania family. This is one one his last pieces and a gem in itself and truly special 🌿
