VINTAGE ROSENTHAL DISH/SAUCER

This Rosenthal dish/saucer is egg shaped. It is a mystery, I cannot find any information on it. The circle is off center and is raised, not like an indented circle that a cup would sit in. I believe it to be quite old. The gold detail has very little ware and has beautiful floral decals, may be hand painted. Would make a lovely trinket dish. It is marked ROSENTHAL KUNST-ABTEILUNG SELB BAVARIA. There is also writing that is difficult to make out exactly, see picture. (I welcome any information if someone has it.) It measures 5.5" x 4.75".
