MId-Century Modern MARIMEKKO Katsuji Wakisaka "YUME" Animal Print 1969 Heavy cotton in mint condition. Made in Finland by Katsuji Wakisaka VINTAGE, Never Used 48" x 56" (122cm x 147cm) Perfect for a child's room or another whimsical place. Hemmed top and bottom with a lovely linen 2" hem, sides are folded over 2". Could be hung off a rod on the wall, used as a curtain or framed. Katsuji Wakisaka Katsuji’s designs are characterized by a free and playful approach to pattern composition and a vivid and exuberant color palette. In 1975, he designed the Bo Boo print – an instant classic upon its introduction. Especially in the United States, Bo Boo inspired a wonderfully varied and colorful assortment of products, including bed linens, towels, bags, and tableware.
