poshlizabeth is this ring silver? or marked 925? do you have paperwork that the main stone is a GENUINE quartz and not a cubic zircon?? thanks..

hetfield4pres @poshlizabeth Hey there, thanks for your interest.. No, the ring is not marked Nor is it listed at 925 Sterling Silver . If it was sterling silver, it wld be listed as such.. and, No, I don't have paperwork on this Vintage Ring.. I have a Presidium Hem Tester Ii and Yes, the Main stone tests as Quartz. If it wasn't actually Quartz, then it wld Not be listed as Quartz! Hope thiS helps! Lmk if you have any other questions

poshlizabeth @hetfield4pres thanks for all the great info..do you know what the side smaller stones test as? as quartz as well? do you happen to know what year the ring was made?

hetfield4pres @poshlizabeth Hi, sorry no idea what yr it was made but the majority of the pcs, that I purchased along w this ring, ranged anywhere from the '30s thru the '80s. My best guess wld be c.'80s but again, I really don't know for sure.. As far as the side stones, if my memory serves me correctly, I wasn't able to test as I couldn't get the probe ⤵️

hetfield4pres @poshlizabeth directly on the stone, w/out hitting the metal.. They really don't look like quartz, in my opinion, so I wld say probably glass &/or crystal. Hope this helps! Lmk if you have any other questions 💕
