VINTAGE L.E. SMITH MOON & STARS AMBERINA GLASS CANDY DISH

This is an L.E. Smith Moon & Stars Amberina Glass Candy Dish. Made by L.E. Smith Glass Company. Features the "Moon & Stars" design, which was originally introduced by Adams & Company in 1874 as "Palace". Made of Amberina glass, known for its color gradient from yellow/amber to red. This piece is a vibrant red Amberina. The "Moon & Stars" pattern gained popularity and was produced over many years, with early pieces dating back to the 1880s. This piece is in good vintage condition. There is one small chip on the underside of the bottom pedestal. Cannot be seen or felt from the top. Needs a good hand washing! Lovely piece for your collection!
