melfstone @capnmary this item was kept in a large glass showcase in my house. I rode a motorcycle for years. I kept the original box. The box may not look perfect but the item was not taken out of the case until I decided to sell my motorcycle collection. There are no flaws in the piece. It is just like it was when I bought it new. It is really pretty in person.
