The process has been carried on in the original tradition from Germany circa early 1800’s. The history of the Irish Lace technique, originated in Germany and through a myriad of wars, evacuations, and uncertainty, still thrives today. It’s serendipity the technique originated in Germany yet ended up in Ireland. A truly beautiful multigenerational family history! She is only 2 1/2” tall but comes with the rich tapestry of the famous Irish Lace adorning her dress.
