VINTAGE Handmade Bead Doll Figure

I understand this is a "spirit" figure. I don't know it's origins, but it appears to be handmade folk art of seed beads and old. It's a really fun figure, and sits up well. I think the torso feels like a wood block underneath. Appears to be holding a watermelon. About 4 inches tall. In great vintage condition. Very sweet and bright. Love its necklace!
