VINTAGE Ghungroo Traditional Indian Anklets used in Classical Dances

They are comprised of multiple bells attached to an Orange pad worn above the ankles. They accentuate the Rhythmic footwork of the dancer allowing the audience to hear complex movements. Commonly used in dance forms such as Bharanatyam, Kathak, & Odissi. They are handcrafted w/ brass bells woven into fabric over thick padding. They have cotton woven ties to secure around ankle. Excellent Condition for age.
