Gorgeous vintage leather jacket by Barbara Grimes for Gossamer Wings. Designer Barbara Grimes' apparel is sought-after not only in the Southwest but also in Gstaad, St. Tropez, St. Moritz, Monte Carlo, London, Beverly Hills, Aspen, Denver, Scottsdale, Fort Worth, Dallas, and New York. She is known for her original designs - for both men & women - and for exceptional (quite rare these days) workmanship. Gossamer Wings clients include Elizabeth Taylor, Mrs. Sid Bass, Denise Rich, Dame Vivian Duffield, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Countess Christina Brandolini, Ivana Trump, Heather Locklear, Pam Tillis, Randy Travis, Linda Evans, and Travis Tritt to name a few. Butter soft leather that has been custom made and hand painted with roses. Intricately beaded in a variety of colors that compliment the hand painted roses. Fringe accents across the bust and back of the jacket. Four silver concho style buttons close the jacket. Two front pockets with the roses and small fringe work. The jacket edges have all been whipstitched. The jacket is fully lined. Truly a work of art! Approx flat lay measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 18” Pit to pit: 21” Sleeve from pit: 17.5” Length: 29.5” No size tag as these are custom made. I would say it’s a size Medium, 8 to 10.
