VINTAGE FRANCISCAN DESERT ROSE OVAL PLATTER, 12 ¾ in.

This lovely Desert Rose platter is ready to make an impression at your next dinner, either as a featured piece or part of an entire Desert Rose collection. Note the backstamp, which provides much information regarding the origin, age and authenticity of this platter. This particular backstamp was used during the early 1960s, specifically 1961-62. The backstamp includes, "Made in the USA", and the number 62 is stamped on the back to indicate the year of manufacture. The decorator's number is also stamped; however, it is not as clear as the year. Purchase this beautiful, hand-painted, glossy-finished platter, and you can be sure you purchased a truly authentic vintage piece of Franciscan Desert Rose, made in the USA over 60 years ago.
