VINTAGE DEPRESSION GLASS BLACK PURPLE AMETHYST LARGE RUFFLED FRUIT BOWL PLATE

This fruit bowl/platter dates from the early 20th century, about 1930's-1940's. Unmarked, made of dark purple amethyst glass, large size with a dramatic ruffle shape. Measures about 3 1/4 inches tall and about 12 1/2 inches diameter at its widest. There is some minor surface scratching on the inner surface. No chips or cracks. My home is smoke free.
