VINTAGE Cockatiel Bird Duo Brooch ~ 1940 Gold Gilt Pot Metal Rhinestone Birds

Presenting an impressive Art Nouveau Style, gold, rhinestone, and multi-colored enamel, exotic birds, cockatiels brooch. Measuring 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 3/8" deep, this piece is reminiscent of the famous Coro Cockatiel Duette. Many versions were copied during the 1940s. This detailed and dimensional bird brooch is constructed of pot metal overlaid with gold gilt, the bird is hand-painted with enamel colors of red, green, white, and blue. Faceted green rhinestones are used for the eyes. The original C-clasp holds securely. Very good condition ~ No wear to gold gilt or enamel. This runway bird would look fabulous on a coat, or jacket, to hold a wrap or cloak in place, or even to frame as a piece of jewelry art.
