VINTAGE 1970's CHICAGO SKYLINE COLLECTOR PLATE~COBALT/ LIGHT BLUE~ALSO MARLYN TOURBOAT NO CHIPS NO CRACKS. For your consideration is a beautiful cobalt blue and a lighter blue, trimmed with gold, collectors plate of the skyline of Chicago measuring 8-5/8" wide. Besides the skyline and the river scene is the Tourboat Marlyn, belonging to Shoreline Sightseeing, established in 1939. It began with one vessel offering Lake Michigan Boat Tours showcasing Chicago's fabulous skyline. Now in the third generation of family ownership and operation, Shoreline has a fleet of nine touring vessels and eleven water taxis. Very nice addition to a plate collection or Chicago memorabilia.
