VINTAGE CANADIAN TORPEDO SNOWSHOES

Vintage Canadian Snowshoes c. 1940's, 20th century Wood, Rawhide, Leather, Metal (nails) 48"I x 14"w. A clear example of Torpedo brand: traditional White Ash Canadian Snowshoes. This set is in excellent condition and could be still used today. Thick rawhide lacing and stout white ash frames combine to make a workhorse snowshoe. This particular set is the classic shape and has original leather bindings and are in great condition. Etching of "Lac Megantic" written on nose of snowshoes. A great set of decorative snowshoes at a reasonable price.
