VINTAGE BUTTERSCOTCH HOOP EARRINGS

Vintage hoop earrings in butterscotch hue. I think it's an old plastic of sorts. It has a very strong formaldehyde smell when dipped in scalding water. They are very cute and in good used vintage condition.The hoop is about 0.75 inches in width. # bakelite, fakelite, lucite, galalith???
