VINTAGE BOHEMIAN Cranberry Cut To Clear CRYSTAL CANDLESTICK / 5.75 Inches / RARE

The Bohemian glass makers of Western Germany are known for their mastery of layering two colors of glass together then cutting away some of the outer layer to reveal the color below. This charming crystal candlestick has an outer layer of rich cranberry-colored glass that has been expertly cut away to reveal the clear crystal underneath. The other examples of this candlestick I have seen feature a flat rim but this is the first one I have seen with a wavy rim. It measures 5.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide. It is in excellent condition and was obviously treasured by its original owner.
