Is the fabric stretchy at all - I am costuming an opera and it seems perfect but need the hip measurement to be around 55 inches

@debbyanderso976 Hello. Thank you for your interest. The skirt lining is very stretchy. I can stretch it to 28" across. It would be snug but not strangulation :). The chiffon skirt does not stretch and measures 27" across. Does that work for you? Cathy
