VINTAGE AVON HUDSON MANOR COLLECTION SILVERPLATED HOSTESS BELL This vintage Hudson Manor Silverplated Hostess Bell from Avon is from around 1978 and has a gentle sounding ring. It has a beaded look around the decorative sculpted rim and other than a little bit of tarnish from time (which ALL silver does) is in like new condition, as it was only used for showing customers. The inside of the rim is stamped “HMC AVON SILVERPLATE” but does not state where it was made like other pieces that are stamped ITALY. The bell measures about 5 ¾ inches tall and about 2 ¾ inches across the bottom. The box is scuffed and shows wear from being opened and moved around over the years but is still functional.
