VINTAGE 50s 60s Black Sheer Lace and Chiffon Taffeta Party Dress

This is a truly beautiful Vintage late 1950's party dress. It is made of several layers. The bodice has sheer black lace over a sheer black mesh layer, as well as a black taffeta sweetheart cut layer. The taffeta underlayer gives the sheer lace bodice a subtle sweetheart illusion neckline. The sweep has a full black taffeta underlayer with a sheer black chiffon overlay. The bodice is fitted with a high neckline, 1/2 length sleeves and a metal "Lucky" brand back zipper, The waist is fitted and goes into a full, fluffy sweep. It is such a classic, head turning vintage piece! • No labeled size- There is light give to the lace bodice, please use the measurements for an accurate fit. • Measures: 32" - 34" Bust, 25" - 28" waist, full hips, 16" shoulder to waist, 37" long shoulder to hem, 14 1/2" approximate sleeve length. • Very Good wearable condition with one small cosmetic imperfection. She has excellent seam and fabric integrity and wears and present beautifully. There is a spot of fraying on the lace layer at the high center V neck seam, there is black mesh behind it, so it is not very noticeable - I have included a picture of the area from both sides, please see photo. • Vintage clothing is not new and has been pre-owned, each item is carefully inspected for any issues, flaws are noted and pictured, but please understand these pieces have been worn before.
