VINTAGE- 40s-60s Original Ann Fleischer Hand Knit Organza Knit Dress Size M

This is an original hand knit dress by Ann Fleischer. She designed from the 1940s--1960s and sold her dresses at stores such as Saks and Bedgdorfs. Saks Fifth Avenue offered a complete collection of Fleischer suits and dresses in 1964 which sold for $275.00 - $350.00 (about $1937.00 to $2500.00 in today's dollar). These were couture pieces back in the day and it shows! Absolutely stunning quality. This dress is in good condition for its age. The zipper was stitched in repair (pictured), but it still zips down enough to get the dress on. There is also a loose elastic in the dress that I believe used to go around the waist. This fits a modern day size medium.
