This is a pair of classic 14K folded-fan earrings. While certainly timeless, this shape was especially popular at two points in history - first during the Art Deco era when it was seen in everything from jewelry to architecture and second in the late 1980s to early 1990s when a more ruffled version showed up in fashion and architecture (often in the teals and purples of the era). This pair of earrings is made from solid 14K yellow gold. The gold was machine molded in a steel press, so the the earrings are relatively lightweight for their size. They can easily dress-up or down. Extremely lightweight and comfortable! These were gifted to me but they aren’t quite my style.
