This is a true work horse from Carravelle, a Bulova subsidiary. The 17 Jewel Self Winding mechanics start up on the first wind up. Her seconds hand is methodical as it sweeps minute after countless minute! Again, the wisdom in triple silver toning, to awaken the ease of time telling. Yes, there are signs of the 52 years that this timepiece has been passed down to this day. But I’d be willing to say that she has another 208 years at least!! She could use a new crystal at some point. An internal cleaning and lube. And then a quick buff. And then this cushion can glisten through another polo match! It all starts with finding a new home!
