VINTAGE 1960s unique Art Deco cream necklace

I really can’t explain why this necklace, that I was told by the owner, was purchased in the 1960s, has such an odd variation in the bead layout. Then, the more I think about it, this 25 inch long neck candy did come out of the 60s, so I don’t know why I’m questioning it. It’s a pandemic, go with it.
