VINTAGE 1960s Custom Original PERT BAG California CELLO VIOLIN Needlepoint Purse

Rare find! This is a 1960’s Custom Original Pert Bag of California in excellent vintage condition. This beautiful purse is quite large and substantial, measuring nearly 16” across at the widest point and 13” tall, not including the single carry handle that has about a 6” drop. It features a drop dead gorgeous, 2-sided needlepoint design featuring musical instruments, roses, calla lilies and more. The inside is big and roomy with one zippered pocket and three slip pockets, one of them still retaining the original envelope style enclosure that is either a small wallet or the original mirror holder, although there is no mirror inside. The condition is excellent for its advanced age. Needlepoint is clean and bright and looks like new. The remainder of the bag has some light soiling and minor scuffing. The handle is strong with both ends still firmly and securely attached to the bag. The inside is very clean as well. The condition of this rare and desirable large bag is truly remarkable.
