VINTAGE - 1930'S - Italian Faïence Nove Rose and Fruit Relish Tray Server

In the Rose pattern from the Barrettoni già Antonibon pottery in Nove, Italy, an oversized oval Relish Tray serving platter showing dimensional hand applied fruit, overall hand painted floral decoration, and bright blue feather edging. Dimensional and brightly glazed, this floral pattern is distinctive to this type of Italian ceramics. Four compartments meet at a central handle of two pieces of fruit resting on leaves. Measures: 17 in. L x 13.5 in. W x 3 in. H Minor nipping to the leaves, light losses to the high points as expected in this type of vintage soft pottery.
