VHS Action / Drama Lot: “Training Day,” “Desperado,” “The Fast and the Furious” and “The Mask of Zorro.” “Training Day” is a 2002 Oscar Award-winning film starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. It is a police drama about a veteran officer (Washington) who escorts a rookie (Hawke) on his first day with the LAPD’s tough inner-city narcotics unit. “Desperado” (1995) is an action film written, produced and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It stars Antonio Banderas as El Mariachi who seeks revenge on the drug lord who killed his lover. It also has been cited as the breakout role for Salma Hayek. “The Fast and the Furious” (2001): Starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, it follows Dominic Toretto (Diesel), who enjoys the adrenaline of street car racing and his fans who treat him like a rock star. After a blazing encounter with his ruthless rival, he decides to take Brian (Walker), a newcomer to street racing, under his wing. “The Mask of Zorro” (1998): After being imprisoned for 20 years, Zorro (Anthony Hopkins) receives word that his old enemy has returned. Zorro escapes and returns to his old headquarters, where he trains aimless drunk Alejandro Murrieta (Antonio Banderas) to be his successor. The film also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones. All video cassettes and boxes are in very good preowned condition. Videos have only been watched 1-2 times each, and all played perfectly the last time they were watched.
