VGUC Adidas shell toe Superstar Slip on sz 7 Grey Blue 2018 *1 big flaw

These are in Very Good shape structurally. Even mostly cosmetically but have 1 big flaw, thefe is a spot where the material has worn a way in a Hole, of sorts, it's bizarre to me, as the material the shoes are made of is kinda wierd then it looks like something caustic or errosive wore a purple colored hole thru the firdt layer of these. the spot in its entirety is about the size of a green pea. And the whole is not thru and thru, just sort of ate away the first layer I'm wondering if maybe it was Red Wine. I don't think of wine as caustic, but I'm not used to this material, nor have I ever left a spill to its own devices. Could it eventually damage a shoe, idk. It's my best guess, lol. The "hole" as well as all other angles has been well documented and photographed! IMO, a magic eraser could get these looking almost New obvi with the exception of the purple hole. please let me know if you have any more questions!!
