VERY RARE Lampe Berger Catalytic Fragrance Burner. Chrystal. France. Vintage.

This is a very, very, rare Chrystal Lampe Berger catalytic fragrance burner. The Chrystal is attributed to Baccarat. This was made in France between 1920-1940. I have only seen one other in all these years and it was at a much higher price. This has been in my personal collection for years and it is just as I purchased it from a fine antique dealer who collected fine and antique Lampe Berger Lampe s. It has a new burner wick but everything else is original. The wicks do need to be replaced from time to time depending on how frequently you burn them. They take Lampe Berger oil which can be ordered on line or purchased from any shop that carries Lampe Berger in your area. The Chrystal on this is beautiful. It is clear and heavy, which Baccarat typically is. Around the silver neck of the Lampe it reads Lampe Berger. Made in France. There is some slight discoloration to the ornate cap on top, typical of a Lampe Berger of this age. It works beautifully. There is one tiny chicken peck Nick on the underneath corner that can’t be seen when the Lampe is standing. Again, this is not inconsistent with it’s age. It does not affect the appearance or function. No cracks, crazing or significant damage. It is only priced lower due to the tiny Nick. You can tell the exceptional quality of this crystal when you see it in person. 9” tall from bottom of piece to top of cap. 2 2/4” wide.
