Vintage Vernon Kilns California Pottery 12.25" hand painted chop plate has a scalloped rim with an embossed rope design and beautiful florals. The pattern is called May Flower, and the plate is in perfect condition. Founded in 1931, Vernon Kilns produced ceramics until the company closed in 1958. During WWII, Vernon created a new set of English style dinnerware molds and patterns. This shape, known as Melinda, featured an embossed rope motif and was produced between 1942 and 1955. Over 20 patterns, May Flower being one of them, were produced. This plate is gorgeous! Fast shipping and careful packaging.
