liketheisland I tested it out with my iPhone, which is in a pretty thick case with an ID holder on the back. Mine fit totally fine inside it actually, as long as you aren't carrying too much cash, or you can tuck it smugly in the front pocket but it's too long for the strap to button over it. Hope this helps!
