Venus clothing always seems to have been designed for giraffes. LOL I am 5'4 as well and an XS maxi drags the ground on me. They are all 57 inches or more and the shoulders hang on you if you are petite. I love them and they are decent quality but plan on having it hemmed no matter what. Just my experience.
