VANS VAULT x CHRISTIAN HOSOI SK8 HI 'RISING SUN' Men's US10 *See description*

This is an extremely **RARE** 2005 release of professional skateboarder Christian Hosoi's signature VANS Sk8-Hi, dubbed 'Rising Sun', paying homage to the Japanese rising sun flag integrated along the outer & inner quarters of the shoe, an ode to Hosoi's heritage. Details include: 'HOSOI' embossing on the suede red heel cap, along with a 'HOSOI' tongue tab, black suede eyestay & toebox, canvas inner/outer quarters printed with rising sun image, and original premium cotton VANS Vault black laces (missing white set, may be able to find!). The upper on these shoes are fantastic for their age/wear with slight fading all around in addition to some minor color bleed. Aside from a small tear located on the left shoe underneath the VANS swoosh where the foxing stripe adheres to the base of the canvas of the shoe, there are aren't any other glaring issues (pro-tip for preventive care on a tear: apply a small amount of super glue with a qtip & lightly cover the effected area).
