Pair of fluted earrings designed by Andre Vassort for Van Cleef Arpels.
This is a gorgeous pair of clips-on hoops earrings, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Van Cleef Arpels, back in the 1975. This pair were designed as a left and right with fluted patterns. Carefully crafted at the atelier of Andre Vassort in yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. They are fitted at the reverse with hinged French omega for fastening clips and the addition of gold posts for pierced ears can be easily done.
Weight: 25.5 grams (16.35 Dwt).
Measurements: 28 mm by 26 mm by 13 mm (1.10 x 1.02 x 0.51 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are stamped with beautiful French marks; the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18Kt gold, the maker's mark AV inside a lozenge cartouche associated to the jewelry atelier of Andre Vassort, the seven-digits serial numbers and signed in full as follow, "VCA 69 OR .750 B3071-R1 AV".
