Perfect for fairy or steampunk look, also very in vogue with what’s in style now Handmade, with visible stitching connecting a vintage Vanity Fair slip (mauve / pale purple) to a tiered skirt with a top layer of tulle over an innocent flowered skirt with buttons, and with a base-layer of faded striped cotton that gives the skirt added volume and peaks out underneath. There are two raggedy bows to give it an edgy feel made out of the same faded cotton. The original lace from the slip is reused around the hips. The best detail is the strip on the back that says "Curiouser and curiouser, cried Alice" from Alice in Wonderland. Originally purchased in 2009 from Etsy. Listing it as medium, but it fits an 8 or 10 in women's. The slip is stretchy with adjustable straps so measurements are a range: Bust: 34 - 36" Hip: 37-39" Overall Length: 36 -38" Recommend hand washing it or by itself on delicate. Will consider all serious offers - I just want to see this go to a good home.
