Updated showing flaw-Beautiful Vintage hat from 1940’s Germany

I am reposting this hat because I accidentally damaged the hat when I opened the box that I had it carefully stored in.(Yes-I’m devastated!) 😩 There is a cut in it about 1 1/2” long. It is towards the back, about 3/4 of the way back on the top/right side of the bowl. It is not that noticeable in some light and more noticeable in other light. It is still a beautiful example of a hat worn during the 1940’s in Europe. Made in Germany, this grey felt has a super wide black velvet dotted band. This stretches and fits me perfectly (my head size is 22”). It has a 2” brim. Label is Modell-Modisch Aktuell. I have marked this down to $30 to reflect the damage and will consider reasonable offers. Poshmark’s suggested price is $82 so you are still getting a wonderful deal!
