Upcycled Kantha & Vtg Lace Peplin Jacket L-1X Handmade Dont Throw It Out

I make these one of a kind coats from Kantha cloth. Beautiful quilted cotton fabric from India....no 2 alike! Inside. I also used vtg lace curtain valences for the sleeves & ruffleI use French seams (hidden), so no open seams. Size L to 1X..measurements: shoulder-30", bust-48", above ruffle-45", shoulder to hem-27-29". My dress form is a sz 8. Versitile...wear with anything. Kantha fabric is primitive so there may be small dye flaws. Kantha means "scraps" in sanskrit. They hand sew crude patches to holes or rips. This all adds tribal charm! Kantha cloth may have a musty odor because it comes from a hot country (India). Soak in a vinegar bath, rinse & air dry. By " Don't Throw It Out ", my own brand.
